Best Chocolate Chip Cookies
Ingredients
- 12 oz. Butter
- 12 oz golden brown sugar
- 11 oz granulated sugar
- 1 tbsp vanilla
- 3 Eggs
- 25.25 oz all-purpose flour
- 7 tsp baking soda
- 0.75 tsp Salt
- 12 oz. semi-sweet chocolate chips
- 11 oz. quick cooking rolled oats
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 375° F (190° C).
- Beat butter and sugars until light and fluffy using a stand mixer on medium setting. Add eggs and vanilla and beat for an additional 2 minutes on medium setting.
- Mix flour, baking soda and salt. Add flour mixture to butter and sugar mixture. Mix on medium low setting until combined. Stir in chocolate chips and rolled oats by hand.
- Drop 1/4 cup of dough per cookie on to un-greased, parchment lined cookie sheet 2 in“ apart. Bake for 12 to 14 minutes, or until the edges are golden brown and the surface is slightly cracked.
- Allow to cool for 2-3 minutes before transferring cookies to a cooling rack.
