The Best Big & Chewy Chocolate Chip Cookies Ever!
Ingredients
- 2 cups All purpose flour
- 1/2 teaspoon Baking soda
- 1/2 teaspoon Salt
- 3/4 cup Unsalted butter
- 1 cup Brown sugar packed
- 1/2 cup Sugar
- 1 tablespoon Vanilla extract
- 1 Egg
- 1 Egg yolk
- 2 cups Semisweet chocolate chips
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 325? Line cookie sheets with parchment paper.
- Sift together flour, baking soda & salt; set aside.
- In medium bowl, cream together the melted butter and sugars until well blended. Beat in vanilla, egg and egg yolk until light & creamy.
- Mix in the sifted ingredients until just blended. Fold in chocolate chips by hand.
- Drop dough onto cookie sheets (approx 1/4 cup), about 3 inches apart.
- Bake for 15-17 minutes. Remove from oven and cool on baking sheets for a couple minutes before moving to wire cooling rack. I place a tea towel over the wire racks and put the cookies on top of the towel. The cookies seem to stay softer this way.
