M&M Monster Cookies

Ingredients

  • 1/2 cup butter (softened)
  • 1/2 cup shortening
  • 1/2 cup sugar
  • 1 cup dark brown sugar
  • 2 eggs
  • 1 tablespoon vanilla
  • 2 tablespoons molasses
  • 2 cups flour
  • 2 teaspoons baking powder
  • 2 teaspoons baking soda
  • 1/2 teaspoon kosher salt
  • 2 cups old fashioned oats
  • 1 cup pretzel, crushed
  • 1 / 4 cups M&M’
  • 1/2 cup semi-sweet chocolate chips
  • 1/2 cup white chocolate chips
  • 1/2 cup coconut
  • 1/2 cup pecans, chopped
  • 1/2 cup dried cranberries

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 350, line baking sheet with parchment paper.
  2. In a stand mixer beat butter, brown sugar, shortening, granulated sugar, vanilla and molasses until combine, then add eggs, mix until combined. Add flour, baking soda, baking powder and salt, beat in oatmeal.
  3. Fold in chocolate chips, pretzels, M and M’s coconut, pecans and cranberries.
  4. Roll dough into balls about 1-2“ round, place slightly apart on prepared baking sheet.
  5. Bake for 8 minutes, rotate pan and bake another 2 minutes. Watch carefully so they don’t brown too much, the cookies will continue to bake on the baking sheet when removed from oven.
  6. Cool, eat, enjoy.
