Blueberry cookies

Ingredients

  • 1 cup fresh blueberries 🫐
  • 2 cups all-purpose flour 🌾
  • 1/2 teaspoon baking powder
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt 🧂
  • 1/2 cup unsalted butter softened 🧈
  • 1 cup granulated sugar
  • 1 large egg 🥚
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract 🌿
  • 1/4 cup sour cream

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. In a bowl, whisk together flour, baking powder, and salt.
  3. In another bowl, cream together butter and sugar until light and fluffy. Beat in the egg and vanilla extract.
  4. Gradually mix in the dry ingredients, alternating with sour cream.
  5. Gently fold in the blueberries.
  6. Drop spoonfuls of dough onto a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
  7. Bake for 12-15 minutes or until edges are lightly golden.
  8. Let cool on the baking sheet for 5 minutes before transferring to a wire rack to cool completely.
