- 2 cups Milk

- IN a heavy bottomed saucepan, on medium heat, warm cranberry sauce until liquid.
- DIVIDE evenly among 8 ramekins and let cool.
- IN SAME SAUCEPAN, heat cream and milk to just under a boil.
- REMOVE from heat and let cool for 10 minutes.
- MEANWHILE, beat yolks, sugar and salt in a separate bowl with a whisk until mixture is pale yellow (1 minute)
- SLOWLY pour cream mixture over the eggs, stirring constantly, but not whipping.
- LET mixture rest in the fridge for 1 hour.
- PREHEAT OVEN to 300 deg.
- DIVIDE custard among ramekins and place in pan.
- SET pan in middle rack of oven.
- CAREFULLY pour hot tape water into pan until halfway up sides o ramekins.
- BAKE 65 0 75 minutes or until set.
- REMOVE from water bath.
- CHILL 2 to 3 hours.
- SPRINKLE 1 TEASPOON SUGAR EVENLY OVER RAMEKINS AND CARMELIZE UNDER THE BROIL FOR 2 MINS. UNTIL SUGAR TURNS BROWN.
- Let sugar cool and harden before serving.
