White chocolate cranberry cookies bring together two contrasting flavors that make every bite interesting: creamy sweetness from white chocolate and a bright, slightly tart taste from dried cranberries. These cookies are easy enough for everyday baking but special enough for holiday gatherings, cookie exchanges, and homemade gifts. Their soft texture, chewy center, and colorful appearance make them a reliable favorite when you want a treat that feels a little more distinctive than a classic chocolate chip cookie.

White Chocolate Cranberry Cookies for Any Occasion The appeal of these cookies comes from the balance between rich and fruity flavors. White chocolate adds a smooth, buttery sweetness, while dried cranberries provide a pleasantly tangy contrast. For extra texture, chopped pecans or walnuts can be folded into the dough, although the cookies are equally enjoyable without nuts. A small amount of vanilla and a pinch of salt can also sharpen the overall flavor without overpowering the main ingredients. For the best results, avoid overbaking the cookies. Taking them from the oven when the edges are lightly golden and the centers still look slightly soft helps preserve a chewy texture as they cool. Chilling the dough before baking can also help the cookies hold their shape and develop a richer flavor. These simple details can make a noticeable difference in the finished batch.
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350'F.
- Lightly oil 12 individual ramekins or one 9 inch square or round pan.
- Peel the bananas and slice them, then add to a bowl and add the sugar, give it a gentle mix to coat the banana and set aside.
- To make the crumble melt the earth balance margarine, set aside. Mix the oats, flour, brown sugar, coconut and butter together. Mix well so that all the dry ingredients are coated with the earth balance.
- Put your banana into the pan covering the bottom completely with banana. Add the crumble topping and sprinkle a little nutmeg on top.
- Bake for about 20 minutes or until bubbly.
- Serve warm or at room temperature.
- Bon Appetit!
